IMDb Rating: 5.8 (-0.2/10)

“… a ridiculous finale to a ridiculous franchise, and while a good half of the movie is just as terrible as you’d expect it to be, the rest is filled with an uproarious amount of unintentional humor that made it more than worth watching for me”

The Sweeney

Tomatometer:  62% (+0.2/10)

IMDb Rating: 5.9 (-0.1/10)

“The Sweeney amounts to little more than a faint echo of the multitude of dirty-cop-dramas it tries to stand alongside.”

Tomatometer:  50% (-0.5/10)

IMDb Rating: 6.5 (+1.0/10)

The Bourne Legacy

Tomatometer:  53% (-0.2/10)

IMDb Rating: 7.5 (+2.0/10)

“The Bourne Legacy has all of the ingredients of a good Bourne movie but the lack of a compelling plot and some serious pacing issues result in a movie that feels like nothing but an unnecessary echo of what made the first three Bourne movies into modern classics.”

John Carter

Tomatometer:  52% (-0.3/10)

IMDb Rating: 6.8 (+1.3/10)

“While an intriguing story line and a great deal of production value, John Carter should be better than it is”

5.0:  Mediocre

Expendables 2

Tomatometer:  65% (+1.5/10)

IMDb Rating: 7.5 (+2.5/10)

“Weak characters and some completely unnecessary late game twists prevent Savages from making anywhere near the same impact as past Stone films like Platoon

Tomatometer:  54% (+0.4/10)

IMDb Rating: 6.8 (+1.8/10)

“between the shallow characters, the weak screenwriting and disorienting amount of betrayals and double-crossings near the end of the film, I find myself hard pressed to recommend the movie to anyone in particular. ”

4.5:  Sub-Par

Taken 2

Tomatometer:  21% (-2.4/10)

IMDb Rating: 6.7 (+2.2/10)

Between a horrible script, dubious acting and an overall lack of originality, Taken 2 takes a rare logical setup for a sequel and squanders it by giving the audience the same “been there, done that” feeling of this year’s similarly exploitative sequel The Hangover: Part II”

The Watch

Tomatometer:  15% (-3.0/10)

IMDb Rating: 5.7 (+1.2/10)

Tomatometer:  39% (+0.9/10)

1.5:  Please Tell Me You Were Joking

1.0:  Participation Point

Tomatometer:  0% (-1.0/10)
